Love my job...JetBlue

Love that I have a job that allows me to fly to California for a day. Going with my good friend Jill and her son Connor who lives in Chicago with his dad but was in Utah with his mom Jill for springbreak.

Headed out to sea to see some whales and dolphins!

Yes, I am holding a snake, it is an albino burmise python, I was brave =)
The ocean is still a little cold for March 30th! But sure fun.
Me and Jill on the Ocean Explorer looking for whales. We did end up seeing 4 Grey Whales a bunch of Dolphins, and some California Sea Lions. It was really fun to actually see Dolphins in "their" world, not in captivity at Seaworld. Had a really fun time for the day. Thank you Greg for letting me have these days with my friends, and thank you D'Laina for helping out with the kids.

Its about time I updated my blog..St George baseball

We love going to watch Tanner play baseball, especially when it is in St George!!

Some fun in the pool at the Hotel

Baseball!!

Baseball is something we will do forever at the Perkins house. Dakota up to bat! She did great.
Colton up to bat, looking surprised! He had a really good year!
In the outfield, not seeing much action at the moment!
Where is the ball....when is it coming my way?

Next.....

Shayla has a birthday, turns 19.

Colton wins 2nd place for speed at the pinewood derby, woohoo Colton! fun times, but can get a little competitive (not for the boys of course but the DADS)

The twins took swimming lessons, it was not the best timing so they missed a couple and we definitely need to get them in some more lessons!

My 2nd grandson comes into the world. Good times =) Brock Gregory Lindsay. July 15th

Granny

My grandmother decided it was time to be back with grandpa, she left us on Thanksgiving day. She was 94 years old and has lived an awesome life. The very selfish piece of me wishes she was still here but the realistic piece of me knows she is at peace, happy, and having an amazing reunion with her husband, parents, brothers, sisters, daughter in law, and many more. Here are a couple of pictures I found of her.

This is a 5 generation picture, Grandma Jennie, my dad Ken, me, D'Laina (my oldest) and Ethan, my cute grandson.

This picture was taken at Heidis wedding, we are so thankful that Granny was able to attend the weddings of my 2 oldest girls.

Garfield

So, a couple of months ago Dakota sent a letter to Santa Claus, yup, she is starting early, the one thing she wants is a "kitten". Un, no, not really thinking that is going to happen but I bet Santa will find something she will like, right?! So, D'Laina, a great big sister, who is allergic to cats and HATES cats comes over the other night, with....can you guess....the suspense.... a kitten! UGH, but there were these little girls on the corner and whatever kittens they didnt give away were going to the "pound" so I had to save one of them and Dakota really wants a kitten, but duh, they grow up into cats. But, being a pushover as I am, we have a new kitten. It is cute, I do admit, BUT...(sigh) Of course Dakota and Colton both love our new kitten "Garfield".
